Worcestershire Wedding Photography – Sam & Craig

Sam and Craig’s Worcestershire wedding reception was held at their home in Upton-upon-Severn, with the church ceremony at All Saints Church in Hollybush, Malvern. They had a couple of marquees setup in their garden along the riverbank – one of them for their afternoon tea wedding breakfast and the other for the evening dance floor. They had food vans for evening food – the amazing Bun Club and Butler’s Fish and Chips – and local band The UnderCoVeRs playing!

It’s always an honour to be asked to shoot another photographer’s wedding – Craig runs his own aerial photography business, Hi-Cam Photography. I’ve known Craig for years, we first met when working as photographers for rival local newspaper groups in Worcestershire… there was never any rivalry between us though! It was great to finally meet Sam just before the wedding after hearing about her for all these years too!

Wedding Photography in Malvern

After starting the morning at Sam’s parents’ house where Sam and her bridesmaids were getting ready, I headed off to the Church in Hollybush, Malvern to capture their arrival at the church. It was a classic car themed arrival with the bridesmaids being driven there by a family friend in his Capri whilst Sam’s dad drove her there in his Triumph! This continued the theme of awesome transport to your wedding after Craig had already flown himself and his two best men to the church in a helicopter! A secret from everybody except Sam (and his instructor) that he had even had lessons. The ceremony was fun and full of laughter, particularly when, to Sam’s confusion, the vicar missed out the first kiss!

Craig then flew himself and Sam back to a field near their house where their guests greeted them. Then they hopped into the back of Sam’s dad’s Triumph to arrive at their reception in style! Apart from the elaborate transport, it was a very relaxed affair with friends and family enjoying a drink and party without anything overly formal and stuffy. There was some slight drizzle but on the whole it stayed dry and everyone had a great time enjoying the afternoon tea wedding breakfast and then watching Craig trying to keep up with Sam with their choreographed first dance! What a great wedding!

I loved the ones on the bridge, and the last one.
The one of Sam on her own at the beginning where she is looking wistful, ahhhhh.
I just love them all, you can feel the love they share.
A job very well done. Craig and Sam must be thrilled with them?
