Michaela & David’s summer wedding was held at the lovely Woodside in Kenilworth, Warwickshire. They had been hoping for good weather, or at least a dry day so they could have their ceremony outside in the gardens, and they were not disappointed. It was a warm start to the day with sun at times and the forecast looked promising… and that’s the way it continued all day – the perfect weather for a wedding!
Michaela got ready at Woodside with her four bridesmaids whilst David got ready at home before arriving in style in his Toyota Celica. After David had finished polishing his car for photos later on, he was ready and waiting for his wife to be. As Michaela walked down the aisle, you could clearly see the emotions on David’s face as he watched her walking towards him – you could really feel the love between them. I love an outdoor ceremony and this was a great setting with the gazebo surrounded by the woodland trees.
We followed up with some family photos in the gardens before going for a walk with the happy couple to get some photos of the two of them together. Then it was time for the wedding breakfast, followed by the speeches. As the early evening sun drew in, we made of the most of the lovely soft light and took Michaela and David to a field right next to the venue for some stunning shots of the two of them together for their wedding album. After the cutting of the cake and their first dance, we finished off the photos for the day with a fantastic sparkler exit outside the front of the hotel building.
Here’s a few photos from their day…
