Hannah & Callum’s Manor by the Lake Wedding

Hannah & Callum’s wedding saw me heading back to the amazing Cotswolds wedding venue of Manor by the Lake in Cheltenham. I first came to Manor by the Lake last year when I shot the lovely Dolly & Kush’s wedding… and this wedding came from me posting their wedding on Facebook. It turns out a friend of mine used to be best friends with Kush when they went to school and his sister was getting married at the same venue… so here we are now.

There was one random shower in the morning (best time for it!) but other than that it was a beautiful warm and sunny summer’s day. I arrived to photograph Hannah and her bridesmaids getting ready along with Hannah’s mum in the bridal suite. Meanwhile Mark, my second photographer, shot the the guys getting ready in the Rock Bar –  an awesome room with a pool table, table football, a duke box and a bar… perfect for the groomsmen!

Hannah’s dad came to see her in the bridal suite and walk her down to the ceremony. The ceremony room was flooded with lovely light from the huge windows which always helps with the photos. After a beautiful ceremony, everyone headed outside for confetti and some group photos. Hannah & Callum hired a magician for their drinks reception – they’re always great fun at a wedding and this was no exception.

The wedding breakfast started with the speeches, which seemed to have everyone in the room laughing! Then after the meal we took Hannah & Callum out for some golden hour portraits – my favourite time for these photos by far!

Then it was time for their first dance before the party really started –  there were some incredible moves on that dance floor! I stayed to capture the dancing for a while before we finished the night off with a couple of final night time shots with the bride and groom.
