What areas do you cover?
I’m based in Warwick, in the Midlands so I’m conveniently placed to travel around Warwickshire, Worcestershire, and the West Midlands. However, I’m also happy to travel throughout the UK or even abroad for destination weddings when required.
How many photos will we receive?
For a full days coverage, you will receive between 400+ high resolution final edited images.
How long do you stay for on the day?
I’m typically there from bridal preparations through to your first dance… and then a little bit longer to catch your guests on the dance floor.
What time do you arrive for the bridal preparations?
I usually arrive about 2 hours before the start of your ceremony. This should give me plenty of time to photograph the details such as your dress, shoes and flowers as well as getting some great shots of the final stages of your hair and makeup being finished.
Do you take group photos?
I am more than happy to take family and friend group shots and see these as an important part of your wedding photography. Have a good think about who you really want to include in the group shots though. I suggest that you keep the number of groups to 8 or less as it can take time to gather people together for each photo and I’m sure you would prefer to spend time with your guests rather than spending too long posing for my camera!
How long does it take for the photos after the ceremony?
I usually recommend leaving at least 2 hours between the end of the ceremony and the start of your wedding breakfast (excluding travel time). This might sound like a long time but don’t worry, this includes time for group shots, a selection of beautiful portraits of the two of you together, and plenty of time to relax and enjoy a drink with your friends and family without rushing around. This also gives me more time to capture natural photos of you and your guests having fun, and to photograph the room details for your wedding breakfast.
What happens if it rains?
I’m sure you won’t let it spoil your day so I won’t let it spoil your photos. I always keep a collection of white umbrellas in my car for the bride and groom and other guests to use during photos if required. This way, you can stay dry whilst I keep snapping away. I will always have a backup plan and will scout out indoor locations just in case.
I don’t like my photo being taken – how do you deal with this?
When I first meet couples I am often told that they don’t like having their photos taken. This isn’t a problem. I like to keep your photos relaxed, fun, and with a natural feel to them without the need for you to be getting all posey for me. I find that couples respond well to this and end up actually enjoying it.
Do you do engagement shoots?
Yes, this is a great way for you to experience being in front of the camera so you can feel more relaxed during the photos on your wedding day. An engagement shoot costs £150 for two hours of time on location.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, I offer a public liability and professional indemnity insured service.
How long will it take before we receive the photos?
Although usually less, it can take 6-8 weeks during busy periods before you see your finished images. Lots of behind the scenes work needs to be done to make sure the final product is finished to a high standard. As soon as your photos are ready I will send you the link and password to your private online gallery where you can download your high resolution final edited images.
Do you offer albums?
Yes I do. Albums can be seen as old fashioned but they don’t have to be! I believe it’s so important to see printed photographs in albums as digital files can easily be forgotten about whilst there is something special about having printed photos in front of you. I offer a range of stunning albums by Queensberry – the best in the business.
Can we print our photos?
Absolutely – I provide printing and sharing rights for the bride and groom. If sharing on social media, a credit to ‘Alex Bradbury Photography’ is always appreciated!
